Today, on International Climate Change Day 
, let us reflect on the urgency of addressing this global challenge. Climate change is an undeniable reality that impacts the world, manifesting itself in rising temperatures, melting glaciers, extreme weather events and loss of biodiversity 
The responsibility falls on all of us, as individuals, communities and governments, to take concrete action to mitigate this problem. We must reduce greenhouse gas emissions, promote clean energy sources, preserve our natural resources and adopt sustainable practices in our daily lives 
As climate change continues, we see records becoming the new normal, such as the warmest month in 174 years, rising ocean temperatures and the lack of sea ice formation in Antarctica. These facts underline the urgency of accelerating the transition to a sustainable economy and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. COP28, to be held in November, represents a crucial opportunity for world leaders to take meaningful action against the climate crisis.
Projects such as GREEN Factor, part of the Erasmus+ programme, aim to raise awareness of the urgent need to protect our environment. Their work to promote a change of mindset and encourage initiative, especially among the younger generations, is a key part of building a sustainable future.
On this International Day Against Climate Change, let us join together in the fight for a more sustainable and resilient future. Let’s educate ourselves, take action and pressure our leaders to make decisions that protect our planet. Together, we can make a difference.
